I support Israel 2

posted Monday, 5 January 2009

A blogger and a software developer from United Kingdom  posted the following:

"Having just received some photos from a source I will not name, it is truly horrific to actually see what is going on there, I mean this is the sort of stuff that European & American TV Censors and is not allowed to show you.

To see children being killed and people being decapitated in this manner is truly horrific, why on earth is the US government handing over somewhere in the region of 3 Billion US dollars a year to Israel is beyond me.

I could go on and on but these images I have speak a thousand words but I am not sure if I should post them on my Blog or not, I’d appreciate some opinions before I make a decision."

Here's my answer to his post:

You can certainly post any photos. But before you do this, I’d love you to comment this scenario.

Every day you put your kids to bed or send them to school… and your town gets 50-100 bombs from a neighbor country. No, they don’t attack solders of your country, they don’t ask for anything specific, they just want your country cease to exist. Again, don’t think of some remote land with unknown people, think about the town YOU live in and about YOUR kids. What would you do in this case?

From day one, Israel states that it'll stop the offensive as soon as Hamas will stop firing rockets at Israeli cities. Hamas does not give a fuck about these requests. They don't give a fuck about their own people. Blinded by religious hatred and encouraged by Iran, they want to remove the state of Israel from the world map. As simple as that.

It's a real tragedy that peaceful citizen of Gaza die, but there is one reason for this - Hamas. Here's a good example of how they encourage further rocket attacks on Israel. They don't give a shit about their own killed children - they need them for PR. Watch these Youtube videos by Israeli army: http://www.youtube.com/user/idfnadesk

A couple of years ago I published a blog supporting Israel during their war with Hezbollah,  it's time to speak up again.

Update. Wall Street Journal published this photo in an article about how Israeli spectators gather on a hill and watch bombing of Gaza. This is really disgusting seeing how Orthodox Jews enjoy "the show" knowing that they won't serve in the army and risk their lives.

Unfortunately, it seems that Israel is losing this war too - every day at least a couple of dozen of rockets are being fired from Gaza regardless of all the damage cased by their air and ground forces. Most likely, after another couple of weeks of these military actions, Israel will be forced by the international pressure to stop, and Hamas will declare their victory over Zion aggressors. And the rockets will keep falling on Ashqelon, Beer Sheva, Sderot, and Ashdod...

Right on, Yakov!

Just to shed some light on the 3 billion or so Israel gets yearly: 1. Egypt gets just as much so that it doesn't blow up into the next Hamas/Hezbullah. 2. Most of the money Israel gets is SPENT IN the USA on weapons, etc. So the money amounts to a subsidy to American weapons manufacturers. 3. For every dollar America has ever spent on Israel, it's gotten three in return in terms of weapons testing, technology transfers, R&D, etc.

First of all I have great sypathy on jews and Israel. Unlike people around their region they dont rely on oil they work to surive. In history they had great difficulties even bfore wwII. In my home country we have many jews who had been rescued from spain. BUT... Israel today, had been founded on land which had people living on, again i dont say israel shouldnt be founded, i am glad they are there but they changed all that area. People who had been moved killed started reacting to them which is again i dont find right them to fight this way against Israel but Israel today, is much more strong, powerful and educated than all those people around. They should be wise, they cant kill children just because the others also kill. I would still understand some civilian losts since it is hard to seperate civil and armed people but the places they bombed include mosques, schools and hospitals. This is not right, and yes Yakov i wouldnt react like this and kill the attackers children even if he kills mine. This doesnt solve the problems, it creates more problems for future generations. Nothing can make me understand killing someone innocent right, I hate Hamas, i hope they will suffer but as Israel plays the game just like them they dont seem much different then Hamas (only when they aim innocent).

Mike, What would you do if they'd kill your kid - filed a small claim court? IMO, HAMAS is a bunch of lunatics that don't understand any arguments but force. The worst thing is that they LOVE when palestinians kids are killed - it gives the something to talk about. HAMAS doesn't want piece.

I totaly agree! i never ever protect or support hamas, but if Israel (as today) is not sensitive about bombing civil locations like mosques, schools they become not different than hamas. I will support their war with all my heart as long as they dont kill innocent (still i insist some civil loss is acceptable but not this much) And yes even some kill, put in a can or whatever does to my children i wont go and kill some innocent just because they are the same nationality with the terrorrists. Israel is a respectable country they are built on a legal ground, they must stay there not go low as terrorrists. Would you accept some german men to attack your innocent family just because of a incident between russian and german in wwII. Innocent people should not be punished because of they share the same nationality with some terrorists..

>>but if Israel (as today) is not sensitive about bombing civil locations

Mike, please do your homework. If there is one country in the world that IS sensitive to killing civilians during wars - it's Israel. Give me another example of a country that would send a plane dropping leaflets asking people to leave the area warning that in 4 hours it's going to be bombed? How can you attack Hamas leaders who are hiding behind their wives and kids? USA and Russia and Germany during their wars don't give a shit about who they kill while fulfilling their missions. Oh, please...

Dont agree. Today they ar not doing anything like warning people. Israel is targetting hospitals, mosques, schools. I will accept such a loss like killing a Hamas leader with their family but can't accept a school to be aimed. Yakov please you do your homework, can you read the statements from red cross. For example ther is one about a women with four children died without any leader around. I wont comment anymore, as i mentioned I am a supporter of Israel and I would prefer them to be there instead of an arab country but not this way. A country must stay in legal ground, you can't fight teror with terror.

I agree this is more than fighting hamas this is just politics for coming elections; Unless they consider red cross as hamas.

MIke insist that he know how to win war without kill civilian, but he don't explain how to do it. Israel cannot win war because we count enumy casualtis and try to be cautious. Israel children from sourth cities grow eight years under each day bombing and I don't remember one demonstation in the world with demand to stop it. If I'll ask Mike, he sure say that we have right to defend ourselves but theoretical only.If Hamas shoots from mosgue we cannot bombin mosque, If they have weapon store in school we cannot destroy this school, if they make tunel for weapon smugling from Egipt we can do nothing with it. Hamas is laughing and says that they winning this war and continue to bombing our cites. It'll be funny if somebody start to cout civilian casultes from war in Chechnia or Afganistan or Iraq.Interesting why that? I sure that Mike know very well why that.

To Abraham (#8): Do you know that BBC is run by arab gulf states and thus is heavily pro-Arab ? And have you heard of Londonistan ? So dump them BBC a source of information.

  • And yes, Israeli elections are coming on Feb.10, so its shameful lefties (Kadima & Labor) are trying to demonstrate that they are capable of protecting the population from Hamas missiles. Of cause it is a big lie: the whole thing is caused by settlers evacuation from Gaza, lost war in Lebanon in 2006 and Oslo disaster.

Their goal is not to let Likud (and Netaniahu) win. I hope he wins. Do not forget that Hamas and Hizbullah are Iranian proxies, they do not move without Tehran, so all that Gaza missile attack is iranian attempt to distract Israel from bombing their nuclear installations before Obama gets the power. Pretty successful :-( Where it is going? Read here: http://www.jpost.com/servlet/Satellite?cid=12 31424897290&pagename=JPost/JPArticle/ShowFull
