I guess, human life is every day less worth and disrespect. We are becoming
objects, piece of meat, with which you can make trade!
What's next?
Endless fieds of artifical wombs, where human being are not born but
grown?! (Matrix). There would be site "buyyourselfachild.com" where you can
make an order with just a few clicks and your chosen child will be
delivered to you within 24 hours by FedEx!!
On the other hand I can understand desperation of those couples.
Where is this world going? What we are doing?
Unfortunately Yakov, the US Gov is way ahead of you on the War front. We
ARE outsourcing the war. The second biggest business in Iraq is private
defense firms (see <a href="http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/show
s/warriors/etc/links.html">Frontline</a>) with over 10000
contracts. And they DO employ third world labor at half the cost of
American contractors.
Instead of calling it war outsourcing, how will it be if we call it looting
outsourcing.. Just give it a thought...
Slavery is still well and alive today. Far from the lowly cotton-field
pickers in the South, we now have "high-tech" slavery of various form that
suit the modern lifestyles. The only folks who benefited from outsourcing
are rich O'lde boys club(read CEO, CIO,CXXX,VP-XXX...anything that starts
with C and VP).
I was puzzled by the fact that recently some illegal immigrants from China
were willing to endure weeks in a shipping container to come to US after
paying pricey "trip of the lifetime". My father-in-law, who knows better
reminded me that ordinary factory folks got paid "pennies" for churning out
cheap goods while well-connected rich party official and their capitalist
buddies reaps in millions. I say, we haven't change very much have we?.

"Under capitalism, man exploits man. Under communism, it's just the
opposite."
It's a matter of time before other (Asian, African, Latin American)
countries catch up with India. It's all economics guys!!! when you go up
the value chain you outsource lowly work to somebody who is at the bottom
of the value chain. That happens everywhere... Why do you think people hire
domestic help?? when they are perfectly capable of cleaning & cooking for
themselves. It happens because you would rather do something more valuable
with your time and effort!!! This provides you more money & satisfaction.
